DeviantART has gotten on my nerves lately. What do you see on the front page? Cosplay and poorly drawn chibis. I mean, I never even post my actual art on here anymore, just Batman and Robin. That should be evidence enough that there's nothing but crap on here these days. It wasn't so bad when I haunted the chats, but, since I broke away from my home-chat (and most chats in general), I haven't been inspired to stick around. It's just not fun anymore. Not to mention the ads and banners knock out my internet most of the time. D: Gross.

Anyway, I just wanted to express this frustration and let you know why I spend most time on Smackjeeves, if anywhere at all.

I figure it this way: Most of the people who are popular on dA are popular for fan-art and cute anime, while that's just about the worst thing you could do to get into an artistic career. I may not be excessively popular, but I have more than enough talent to make it in the animation and comics world quite easily. So they might be happy now, but when they find out that they can't do anything with it professionally, it won't matter anymore. :3

These are the things I think of.

Anyway, this is basically a dear John letter. :T I mean, I want to use this for Batman and whatnot, but I don't know if you're going to find any real art or literature out of my anymore.
